Meet the Interior Designers

The Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is making their presence known at the Colorado Fall Home Show. In a time when getting the right professional to work in your home is even more important than ever, ASID along with the Fall Home Show, is providing access to some of this country’s top interior design professionals. There will be five vignettes featured by five different ASID Designers. The vignettes are featured in Booth #620. Read about our 2018 designers, 2019 information will be published closer to the Show in August.

Vignette Theme: Modern Mountain Inspiration

Vignette Color Palette:  Sherwin-Williams 2019 Palette – Blues, Greens, and Nature Inspired Neutrals

Vignette Intent: The design is a bold artistic take on a Rocky Mountain inspired living room. Design with beauty that will awe any guest but that allow your family and guests to gather in comfort. A color palette inspired by nature infuses through the walls and furnishing to create a relaxing atmosphere through the modern design. Seating is arranged to inspire conversation. The color palette, modern art, and chic elements inspired from nature create a show stopping design that everyone will be talking about. A living room that shows the true marriage of bold design and comfortable function.

Designer Biography: Ashlie is the principal designer and owner of Ashlie Adam Designs. She has worked as an interior designer since 2016. She worked with Associates 3 Interior Design in Denver, and now owns her own firm in Broomfield, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from, CIDA Accredited, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She is an allied member of the American Society on Interior Design, an alumni member of The National Technical Honor Society, and The Kappa Pi Honor Society. Using her knowledge and experience, she loves the opportunity to use interior design to better her client’s lives. Being an entrepreneur, wife and mother of three, she understands the need for a functional space. Ashlie Adam Interiors is a full-service interior design firm. Projects can vary from complete remodels to simple space planning. Ashlie’s design philosophy is to design spaces that marry function and comfort with uncompromising beauty.

Vignette Intent: Dining, playing games, doing homework, assembling jigsaw puzzles; whatever you use your dining room for it’s a place that can invite conversation, allow for contemplation and be just as cozy as your kitchen.  ‘Wheat Penny’ from Sherwin-Williams’ 2019 Color Forecast creates a soothing backdrop for furnishings that are part rustic, part elegant and simply beautiful!  We invite you to dream about how you will use this space.

Designer Biography: Colleen combined a lifelong passion for creating amazing living spaces with a degree in interior design and founded CC Designs LLC to bring beautiful, functional design to her client’s homes. She emphasizes collaboration with the client to bring their vision to life while using creative touches to enhance the end result. Colleen understands the importance of communication to keep projects on schedule, convey the vision and facilitate great outcomes. She believes that style is first and foremost, an expression of who we are, and great design equals intelligent problem solving. Applying these beliefs to every project allows Colleen to work with her clients to create the home of their dreams.

Vignette Color Palette:   Sherwin-Williams 2019 “Naturalist” Palette

 Vignette Intent: The “Mountain Modern Master” bedroom is a relaxing respite from the stresses of everyday life. As more and more people look to the master bedroom as a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house, being bathed in stylish comfort is topping the list of must-haves. The intent was to create a pace in a contemporary Colorado style that makes one feel as if they are tucked away in a luxury mountain resort.

Designer Biography: Leslie Kazmierczak of Level10 Interiors, LLC, has been selected three years in a row to design and decorate a room at the Governor’s Mansion for the holidays.  Leslie has also appeared on television broadcasts of Colorado & Company and 9News Sunday Morning, has been interviewed for articles in 5280 Home magazine’s online edition, has participated in numerous speaking engagements, and has most recently been featured in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles magazine for her work at the Governor’s Mansion.  It was clear that interior design was in Leslie’s soul from the beginning, as she used to rearrange the furniture and accessories in her bedroom on a regular basis as a young child. After graduating from the University of Colorado with a business degree and spending many years in the corporate world as a project manager, Leslie pursued her passion and returned to school, where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design and started Level10 Interiors.  Leslie has recently revamped her business to offer levels-of-service packages that span from consulting to full-service interior design so that there is something for everyone.

Vignette Color Palette: Sherwin-Williams 2019 Shitake SW 9173

Vignette Intent: Whether you live in the mountains or just want the look, this Contemporary Mountain Bathroom is sure to inspire you. To create this aesthetic, I infused the space with a combination of wood, stone, leather and metals. Incorporating furniture into bathroom designs creates a cozy, comfortable, custom feel. A few furniture pieces this space features are a Live Edge Media Console that we turned into a vanity, a contemporary Leather Writing Desk transformed into a makeup vanity and a Mongolian Shearling Accent Chair for fun!

Designer Biography: Denise has actively let complete floor-to-ceiling Design projects for over 25 years in Arizona, Colorado and California. She is an Allied Member of ASID, a graduate of Arizona State University and the recipient of design awards locally and nationally. Denise firs embarked on her television career in 2005 with Channel 3’s Shopping A to Z. She was the creative talent behind the launch of their Home Makeover Series and went on to align herself with media giants Cox Communications and Clear Channel Radio to bring to you Arizona’s Design and Lifestyle program Fine Wine and Design. She has been regularly published in several Lifestyle magazines including New Homes & Lifestyle, Phoenix Women, A Mag and contributed as Design Editor for Tukee AZ, Ahwatukee’s Lifestyle Magazine. She co-owns RDK Design and Build, a full-service Design/Build remodeling firm, with her husband Rob. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, talent and passion in every residential and commercial project they are involved in.

Vignette Intent: A space is defined by the furniture, equipment, and activities within it. Designed with an eclectic mix of bold colors and finishes, it’s a place where the entire family can come together and do what they enjoy!

Designer Biography: Originally from Los Angeles and in a family of designers and architects, Shana Johnston founded Adorn Interiors, LLC in Denver, Colorado since 2007. Since then, Shana has been bringing her very best design concepts, experience and integrity to every project. She has worked on a variety of midrange and upscale home design projects from large to small involving new construction, remodels, and decoration for dozens of residential clients.
