Colorado Garden & Home Show Offers Indoor Plant Sale, Flower Show, Flower Sale and Flower Deliveries to Area Nursing Homes

WHAT/WHEN:   INDOOR PLANT SALE: Plum Creek Garden Market, will be at the Colorado Garden & Home show selling indoor plants, succulents and fairy gardens. The garden retailer, which has outlets throughout the Front Range,  will also display some of its best-known high-quality, locally grown annuals and perennials. Stop by for a 10% off coupon good at any of their seasonal markets between Feb. 24 – March 3.

FLOWER SHOW: Back by popular demand, the Flower Show hosted by the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs will run Feb. 24 – March 3.

FLOWER SALE: Fading flowers will be replaced at the Colorado Garden & Home Show and made available to the public on Wed., Feb. 28, for $2 per pot. Most of the potted flowers are perennials and are a great deal for those looking to add to their gardens, or to bring some fresh color into their homes. The proceed will go to the Arvada Rotary.

FLOWER DELIVERY TO AREA NURSING HOMES: Each year, some 10,000 flowers are grown locally to create the lush gardens at the Colorado Garden & Home Show. Once the show ends on Sun., March 3, approximately 20 metro area Rotary Clubs will converge on the Convention Center to box nearly 5,000 flowers. On Mon., March 4 they will deliver the flowers to nearly 60 local nursing homes.
