COLORADO FALL HOME SHOW RETURNS SEPT. 8-10, ANNOUNCES VECTRA BANK AS RETURNING TITLE SPONSOR

DENVER (August 1, 2017) – Colorado Garden Foundation announced today that Vectra Bank will once again serve as title sponsor of the annual Colorado Fall Home Show, taking place Sept. 8-10, 2017 at the Colorado Convention Center. The Colorado Fall Home Show features the latest in home design and décor trends with themed vignettes and theater sessions presented by the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and, back by popular demand, the Sweet Times of the Rockies Cake Competition.

As always, proceeds generated from the Show will support the Colorado community through Colorado Garden Foundation’s grants and scholarships program. One hundred percent of every ticket sold at the Colorado Fall Home Show will be invested in college scholarships for education in the green and agricultural industry, and horticulture-related grant projects throughout Colorado.

“Vectra Bank is thrilled to once again support Colorado Garden Foundation as title sponsor of the Colorado Fall Home Show,” said Bruce Alexander, Vectra Bank President & CEO. “The Show serves as a great place to get ideas and advice for your home as we head into winter, but also directly supports the community through the horticultural grants and scholarships the Colorado Garden Foundation supports. We are proud to align ourselves with the Colorado Garden Foundation, its exceptional Show, and the efforts the organization makes to give back to our community here in Colorado.”

“Organizations like Vectra Bank are instrumental in allowing us to host an exceptional Show, and give even more to our community through our grants and scholarships program,” said Jim Fricke, executive director of Colorado Garden Foundation. “We are honored to have Vectra Bank on board with us once again, and look forward to another outstanding Colorado Fall Home Show.”

In 2017, Colorado Garden Foundation awarded $521,972 to 61 Colorado organizations for horticulture-related grants. In addition to awarding two four-year, full-ride scholarships to Colorado State University, major grants awarded in 2017 included a grant of $75,000 to Sewall Child Development Center, to help build a new sensory garden at the school, and a second major grant to Englewood Schools for the amount of $74,341, to fund a new greenhouse at the school.

Since the 1970s, Colorado Garden Foundation has awarded more than $7.8 million to more than 300 organizations in Colorado.

This year’s Colorado Fall Home Show provides a forum and marketplace for attendees to explore the latest trends and products to create an energy-efficient lifestyle and prepare for Colorado’s winter. The show is working with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for the seventh consecutive year and ASID designers will present three vignettes, presented by six different designers. Additionally, a demonstration stage will host sessions throughout the three-day show focusing on kitchen design, remodeling tips and accessorizing ideas. More than 250 exhibitors will fill the floor offering ideas and recommendations on home renovation, remodeling and sustainable living projects.
