2018 Colorado Fall Home Show To Take Place Sept. 7-9 at Colorado Convention Center; Vectra Bank Returns as Title Sponsor

DENVER (July 26, 2018) – Colorado Garden Foundation announced today that the Colorado Fall Home Show will return to the Colorado Convention Center September 7-9, 2018, with Vectra Bank once again serving as title sponsor.

The Colorado Fall Home Show features more than 250 vendors and experts offering tips, advice and inspiration for home remodeling, refreshing and renewing. As in past years, themed vignettes and theater sessions will be presented by the American Society of Interior Design (ASID). The Show will also feature Sweet Times of the Rockies Cake Competition.

As summer winds down and cooler temps return, the Colorado Fall Home Show is the preeminent opportunity for consulting with experts and identifying companies and contractors for home projects ranging from landscaping and outdoor installations to furniture, furnishings, remodels, sustainable living projects and more. Attendees also have the opportunity to consult with interior designers from ASID’s Colorado Chapter that will be onsite and exhibiting the latest in interior design trends.

“The Colorado Fall Home Show takes place at a critical time for homeowners, as the weather is shifting and we are spending more time indoors,” explained Jim Fricke, executive director of Colorado Garden Foundation. “Now is a great time to prioritize your home and prepare for winter. This show offers options and ideas for projects of every size.”

As always, proceeds generated from the Show will support the Colorado community through Colorado Garden Foundation’s grants and scholarships program. One hundred percent of every ticket sold at the Colorado Fall Home Show is invested in college scholarships for education in the green and agricultural industries, and horticulture-related grant projects throughout Colorado.

“We look forward to attending this year and partnering with the Colorado Garden Foundation for what we expect will be another fantastic Show ,” said Bruce Alexander, Vectra Bank President & CEO. “We are proud to support a show of this caliber, and a Foundation that gives back to our local horticultural community.”

In 2018, the Colorado Garden Foundation awarded more than $700,000 total in scholarships and grants. Including more than $560,000 in horticulture-related grants to 64 organizations. This year’s two largest non-profit grant winners were Denver Botanic Gardens, of Denver, and High Plains Helping Hands, of El Paso County.

Since the 1970s, Colorado Garden Foundation has awarded more than $8.3 million to more than 300 organizations in Colorado.

In addition to the 2018 Colorado Fall Home Show, Colorado Garden Foundation also presents the 2019 Colorado Garden & Home Show, taking place February 9-17, 2019, at the Colorado Convention Center. More information is available at ColoradoGardenFoundation.org.
